So in 2014, I cut my hair several times. Chopped off inches and inches of it. Then I left it alone and it grew long again (best way to grow your hair long; leave it alone). I don't like it too long (past the bra strap) because when I'm seated driving, I find that I'm pressing down on my own hair (at the back) and that usually gives me a headache. I also do not tie up or bun up my hair much because lately, I also find that gives me a headache. Which why I am talking about my hair...again.
Picture taken end Dec 2014.
Hair at the back is V-shaped and thus longer than what you see in this pic.
DIY colour. Natural curls.
I've been told my permed curls are nice. Thank you but those curls are natural. My hair gets curlier with more layers put in. I finally learnt how to put in my own layers and if you think my curls are nice, then my hairdressing skills can't be that bad, huh? I put in layers because the thickness and heaviness of one length hair got too me. Now, I've still got the length but not the weight.
I've been thinking of cutting my hair into a chin length bob so don't be surprised if I do. I don't really care if it means my face looks rounder, chubbier, fatter. Whatever. It's my hair, no? Shorter hair will mean I don't have to struggle with hair flying into my mouth all the time, don't have to use so much shampoo and conditioner, don't have to wait so long for it to dry and don't have to buy 2 boxes of DIY hair dye for each hair dye job. Actually, looking at the above pic, my hair colour isn't so bad, huh? It didn't look too good when I first dyed it but doesn't look to shabby now although the roots need touching up. So what's stopping me?
Vanity, thy name is me.
I like how 'sexy' and feminine long hair makes me feel. You cannot imagine how much it helps with the mood when you're in the throes of passion. Muahahaha...
Don't have the guts to do it. Don't wanna take 30 seconds to chop it all off only to regret the next morning and have to take 30 months to grow it out again.
Yep. Bummer. Looks like the long hair is here to stay for a while.
