About our Dare-To-Wear shoes

"Shoe (noun):
an external covering for the foot, made of any type of material. Usually consisting of a sole and a lighter upper part ending just at or below the ankle."
Looking for common and safe shoe designs....then this is not the place for you! Cartoon Lagoon's Dare-to-Wear hand painted canvas shoes are not for the faint-hearted!
When you buy 'Dare-to-Wear shoes' from Cartoon Lagoon, we guarantee you will be dorning your happy feet with UNIQUE 'One-of-a-kind' prints, painstakingly hand-painted with love.
We don't do copyright infringements, we don't copy other people's prints (because we'd hate it if someone else copied our designs).

Our designs are part of our cranky artists' ***(see below note) creative processes and when we repeat themes, we never give you an exact same pair as someone else's.

We use water-resistant acrylics, fabric paints, primers and markers. That means the paint won't run when you wash. We do urge you to not scrub the painted surfaces.
Shoe material is mostly canvas.
The prints are water-resistant but the shoes are not.
Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Like all other things, fair wear and tear are to be expected.
If you happen to love waddling in mud and muck, you might (if you're lucky) be able to clean off dirt with a damp cloth (although how often do you clean your other shoes?) but if you can't, then it's time to buy another pair of Cartoon Lagoon's Dare-to-wear funky shoes!!!
Note***:
All artwork done in SINGAPORE. Singapore; that's the country they call the 'little red dot', which last time we checked, is situated somewhere in South-east Asia.
Our artists get cranky because they may or may not have had their daily fix of 'instant noodles' with fiery red-cut chilli and soya sauce.
